Frequently Asked Questions
BIMI is a standard that lets participating mailbox providers use a domain’s published authentication and brand-logo information when deciding whether to display a brand indicator beside an email message.
BIMI readiness depends on a DMARC record at enforcement, generally p=quarantine or p=reject with pct=100. A monitoring-only policy is not sufficient for BIMI.
The presence of an a= URL in DNS does not establish certificate issuer validation, ownership, current validity, or provider acceptance. Those need certificate and provider evidence.
The tool reads public logo content only when the server permits a browser fetch. If the SVG cannot be inspected, it avoids claiming that the file matches the BIMI profile.
The final logo decision happens inside each mailbox provider and can depend on message authentication, certificates, account context, and provider policy. Test a real message to confirm it.
No. The page performs public DNS and logo checks for the domain you enter; it does not ask you to upload an email message.
